Glitter Nail Polish Gradient Nail Art Tutorial – Pink and Turquoise

STEP 1: Basecoat – to protect your nails and create a surface that nail polish bonds to

STEP 2: 2 coats of your favorite tan or beige polish

STEP 3: With a fine turquoise glitter nail polish, use the polish brush to paint 3/4 of the way up your nail, starting at your cuticle line.

• It helps to wipe about 1/2 of the polish off of the brush, on the inside neck of the polish bottle, so you’re painting with thinner layers.

STEP 4: With a medium holographic pink glitter nail polish, paint 1/2 of your nail starting at the cuticle line.
STEP 5: Continuing with the pink glitter, repeat step 4 but only paint 1/4 of your nail (staying close to the cuticle line and intensifying the pink color)
STEP 6: Add a final layer using the small hex turquoise and holographic glitter nail polish. Paint about 1/2 of your nails staying near the cuticle line.

• You may need to place the hex glitters where you want by patting the glitter nail polish brush rather than painting with it.

STEP 7: Seal completed design with your favorite quick dry topcoat.

TIP: Remember to cap your edges and the underside of your nails with topcoat. This seals out water and protects your design.
